Tao Yuan

Tao Yuan, assistant professor in the Ohio University online Master of Engineering Management, earned a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in Industrial and Information Engineering. He holds an M.E. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as a B.E. in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He is a current member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science (INFORMS), the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Dr. Yuan’s teaching focuses on operations research, engineering probability, engineering statistics, reliability, stochastic processes, and design of experiments. He is a current member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science (INFORMS), the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
